Lockwood Folly
Lockwood Folly Country is a golf community of over 500 acres bordering the Lockwood Folly River as it feeds into the intracoastal waterway. Streets are lined with live oaks draped in spanish moss, providing the perfect place for a shady walk or bike ride. In addition to the 4-Star golf course, Lockwood Folly has a large pool and hot tub overlooking the river, clubhouse with full kitchen and dining facility, pro shop, cafe, deep water boat launch, fishing pier and dock on the river and tennis courts.

Oyster Harbour
Oyster Harbour is a relatively new community of around 550 homesites. As of Dec 2006, there were 57 homes either completed or in some stage of construction. Community amenities include a pier, dock and boat ramp into the deep water of the Intracoastal Waterway. This waterside area also features a children's park and covered gazebo. Inside the gated community, you'll find a clubhouse, pool with bath house, storage for boats, walking trails and a kayak launch into the Little Shallotte River.

SeaScape
SeaScape at Holden Plantation is an upscale marina community located about 10 minutes from Holden Beach, NC. Started in 1999, this community features a 75 slip marina with access to the intracoastal waterway. Additionally, there are homes and homesites on the ICW with direct access via their own private piers and docks. Other amenities include walking and biking trails, a private beach club at Holden Beach and a dock house with outdoor kitchen at the marina. The new amenity center, currently under construction, will include and indoor and outdoor pool and fitness center.

RiverSea
RiverSea Plantation is a new community off Hwy 211 near historic port city of Southport. Bordered by the Lockwood Folly River, this community consists of 600 acres of generously proportioned single family homesites, some on the River and upscale patio homes. Amenities include: river access that leads to the ocean, dry storage for boats and RV's, year round pool, fitness center, walking trails and community clubhouse.

River’s Edge
River's Edge is a golf course community in the seaside town of Shallotte. The Arnold Palmer designed golf course has fantastic river and marsh views. Other amenities include: Clubhouse with Pro Shop and Restaurant, indoor and outdoor pool, steam room, sauna, fitness facility, tennis courts, walking trails, and a 27 acre lake for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The community has single family homes, and luxury townhomes as well as vacant homesites. River's Edge also has a Beach Cabana at nearby Holden Beach.
